Ok so i bought a new in dash cd player and had to buy a dask kit for a 2005 2.5s altima. this was at one of the big retailers. after i was returned my car i noticed that the actual receiver seems to be somewhat inward but not to an extreme. i thought the receiver should be sticking out a little shouldnt it. what is the proper way that the receiver should be placed when placed with a dash kit.thanks a lot guys

Alot of kits for the new cars are like this, no worries, sounds like they did it right. I like the way it looks flush mounted.
