For some reason people associate techno with being metro or homo, I don't think so. In need of some fresh techno ish to update my music library, would prefer hard bass beats...I have too much rap

That's a good list, how about any jungle or trance artists? I know there are a lot of Canadian rappers who do the whole jungle/rap thing with sick bass beats...just don't know their names

Check out some CD's call Dream Dance, I think they're up to volume 40 or 41. I can't find them locally so I get them online. If you've got access to XM listen to BPM and find some artists you like and look for other stuff by them. And check out http://www.di.fm/ for a good internet streaming radio site with all sorts of techno.

Have you heard of EBM? It's basically industrial techno, awesome stuff. Some good EBM(Electronic Body Music) guys are VNV Nation, Covenant, and Apoptygma Berzerk
