Anyone else like to hear good highs in a song, with a good mix of bass of course.

What songs have you found with some loud/nice/crisp treble?

My fav is off of one of the Three six mafia CD's, I can't remember the name but the whole cd is awesome!

I agree with neon boy oops I mean man. Every song on three six has killer bass. My friends all like the beginning of sippin on some syrup. Treble... whats that?!?! All I have one 5x7 sitting in my console. Oh well I guess when my components actually get put in I'll hear some words.

I just stumbled across a disc that now I can't stop listening to. It is Afro Celt Sound System - Volume 2: Release. It is kind of a weird mix of world, celtic, and electronica. The SQ is unreal! From the disc - "Deeply rooted in some of the oldest traditions on earth, fused with cutting-edge electronica and stellar grooves - the long awaited second album from worldbeat's spellbinding innovators". I highly recommended it for judging all parts of your system. It's a very clean sounding recording with lots of multi-layering of instruments. Unless you're system is killer it will sound all mushed together and lose imaging detail. A couple of other discs I recommend are Dead Can Dance - Into The Labyrinth, and Dead Can Dance - Spiritchaser. I know that Into The Labyrinth is on Stereophile's R2D4(records to die for) list.
