I thought it might be fun and encouraging for aspiring musicians like myself to post some of there musical creations for review/general enjoyment. We can't put up copyrighted material, but those of us with a tallent to share should have a place to do so. I myself hav greatly appreciated your opinions on my bass tracks, although i wish there were more of them, and eric yates has now posted some of his personal musical makings, so without further adieu, and with the mod's consent, which hopefully will ensue quickly, lets create a post your stuff thread!

Great idea dudes!!

I had originally posted this as a separate thread, but thought that it may be better suited in this thread (feel free to change this post as needed):

One of my fellow Yahoo Group members sent an e-mail in regard to Rock & World Radio. After briefly looking through their site, I saw that they are accepting media from various artists: Send Media to Rock & World Radio --- their downloadable form (*.pdf)

I don't know how wide of a listenership they have, but it may give y'all some more exposure [Smile] . *fingers crossed*

heres another of my latest musings, has an ambient feel, name doesn't really suit it but whatever. Look out for some heavy bass that still sounds good with the song.

please comment good or bad on this piece.

Mike, just wanted to say I love both of those tracks. Can you give me a link to the extended mix of the first track? I'd love to have it.

Would you mind if I gave a friend some of your stuff? I have a couple friends who are local promoters here in KC, and a few more who are DJ's. They are always looking for new stuff.

Mike, Eric et al -

I think that you can add your files to my Grouper.com Bass Freaks Group - it's free, just requires a download.

I've already go the BostonAccoustics & Crutchfield CDs on there.

If you need an invite via my account to join, just zap me an e-mail at ghlbeyerlein@verizon.net.

Note: Files should be viewable tonight (Monday). Being that it was 2:30 AM when I was setting the dang thing up, I missed the "Yo! Duffess, click me to share the files with people" button.

ok, to all those who wanted it, i will upload the extended mix of flying escape sometime within the next couple of hours.

To anyone who wants to share my music with djs, premoters, etc, only thing i need is credit for creating the tracks, and the premoters can feel free to send me contract offers and cash advances, lol.

Eric & Mike -

Posted on the following forums:
MetalliPage
MetalFlakes.com

Also sent an OT e-mail to 6 of my Yahoo Groups and a bunch of my friends who like Bass / Techno / Dance.

Target audience: 2800 + a couple of my colleagues at work + at least 1 College Radio Station (WUPJ 1610 - my old stompin' grounds), not to mention the Termpro.com members & the links they've already created elsewhere.

Good luck [Smile]

here is a little something new and different, trying to solo electric guitar on a keyboard is hard, but we will see what everyone thinks.

About 1 minute into it. The guitar is a nice touch, IMO. There are a few classic-rock / metal tunes that this one reminds of - in particular Rainbow's Tarot Woman (at least the high keys & guitar).

At about 1:40 (+/-, didn't catch the start time), the bass hits (at least that's when I could first detect it on the computer's BostonAccoustics 2.1s) and adds a nice compliment to the keys & guitar.

At about 3:40 (+/-), the bass and tempo makes a nice change.

Although, I do keep waiting for RJD to come in on vox and for Tarot Woman to take off a running (not to be confused with Run With the Wolf).

Not something that I would put on my lifting mix, but I could see putting this on a work or driving mix for when my wife is in the car. Slayer & wife & baby don't always make for a great mix [Wink] .

Very nicely done dude!

Tarot Woman Sample - note, not a dead ringer by any stretch, but just reminded me of the tune (being a Rainbow & RJD fan, it's intended as a compliment).
Run With the Wolf Sample - just for reference, plus another one of my favorite Rainbow / RJD tunes [Smile]

Everything I've heard so far is VERY good! Keep up all the good work! By the way, what do you guys use to create your music (keyboards, programs, etc.)? I'm not sure if mine counts or not, but here is a link to my band's website.
