Sorry to be a post whore lately but IM buying some good music and the word must be spread.

The new fear factory is awesome
They are moving back to the good stuff similar to demanufacture and Obsolete ..unlike digimortal their last effort.
new guitarist is tight too

Obituary is reuniting?! Most excellent! Best news I've heard since last year when Death Angel reformed and Overkill came to town.

Also, I heard that Dave Lombardo is gonna be back on Slayers last album. Any info on this?

Yes but i believe he is temporary until a new drummer is found
not sure if he will stay or not.
he is on tour i believe in support of the God hates us all album
the other drummer paul bostaph left due to an "elbow injury"
but now hes on some other band...
sucks cause i liked him a lot after dave whereas i thought noone could fill those shoes he did a fine job.
