On db Jam CD which is best for spl the 0 db tracks or the clipped ones.

maybe, that's only if it doesn't saturate though

i'd say the 0 db tracks since +-0db is the loudest applicable recorded output.. example, say your looking at a sine-wave. the center of the wave is -inf db, 50% output is -6db, and max output is 0db. anything above 0db is distortion, and therefore doesn't make larger waves than a 0 db signal, it just distorts because it leaves plataeus (did i spell that right) and doesn't actually go ABOVE 0 db
