Anyone check out the new album "Strays" yet? The songs "Wrong Girl" and "Suffer Some" are both standouts to me. "Just Because" should do well (the first single I think). Chris Chaney fits nicely with the sound and does a great job taking over the duty of Bassist. Over all a very strong release that sounds like they never went away. If your a Jane's Addiction fan it's a must have... If your not, I don't think there's anything different enough on this release to win you over (that suites the die hards just fine). [Smile]

Dude!! The last time I heard a Jane's Addiction song was "Been Caught Stealing". Not my favourite band, but they brought it 100% all of the time. Good change of pace (although I normally found my Maiden, Dio, and Priest CDs kicking my sister-in-law's JA CD out of the player).

They are in town today(Lallapolooza spelling?) and I had to pass on a free ticket. [Frown] Would be nice to catch JA. I was more saddened that I couldn't have seen Audioslave. This cd is a must if you liked Rage or Soundgarden. Maybe it's been so long since either has been out that anything by them is good. But I think every single song has radio air time potential. Nice to see a band/artist not make a cd with 2 good songs and some other junk to fill it. And they wonder why piracy is so everpresent. [Confused]

Yeah, they sound like they did back in 1992...It's great to hear artists do it like they used to. Hell, the first time that I heard Just Because, I thought that it was some old song that I had forgotten about...I really dig that soung. Probably should get the CD.
