I'm talking about music that you normally don't listen to or groups you normally don't listen to.

For example, I just threw in the Throwing Copper cd by Live in my puter's cd drive. When I got to the track, Waitress, I was blown away for some reason. Even though I've heard the song many times, it cought my attention this time.

Live may not be a super-hard-rocking band, but the words that come to mind after hearing the track are "wall of sound." That's exactly what it sounds like. There was NO space left on the record! There were no holes. Every instument and the vocalist came through loud and clear with great sound quality. I'm pretty much focusing on the chorus that first appears from 0:01 to 0:13.

i would have to agree with BUSH!!! glycerine is a great song. but right now The Atari's "boys of summer" is kinda giving me that feeling...also any nirvana song.
