I was planning on helping a friend with a Street Max setup in his Grand Am. I was thinking that we could take out the back seat and face the bopx into the cabin of the car. Now according to the rules the box can be sticking through the trunk opening as long as it stays behind the B-pillar( i think). So my question is : Can i take a piece of MDF and put it around the box to seal it off from the trunk?
What i am thinking of is equivalent to making the front baffle about 12" bigger than the rest of the box all the way around. So if the box is say 16" high and 16" wide and then i made the baffle about 26" high and 26" wide seal off the rest of the gap around the box.
hopefully this makes sense to someone. Thanks in advance.

So, can you make this a little more clear ! I can do a Woofer Wall, okay !
Can i make glue the wooferwall into the b pillar and dash and roof ?
In a normal case when you use a Woofer wall, are you allowed to glue the wall in the car, and dont forget when you glue the wall with silicon to the B Pillar left and right, you strength the dash and roof and B-Pillar more as 4 mm Damping !?
Are you allowed to remove the seats ? - Yes But what are you exactly allowed to remove behind out ?
Please make this rule a little more clear, important for Finals !!!!

Oh Oh ! I see a little trouble coming up with Street Max clarifications. Here in Germany are 2 opinions about dampening material and mods behind the B Pillar.
Before season startet I thought different, but then after seeing some installs and talk to SOME judges, everything changed. And now, again, the old clarifications ...
"Old" means : Not more than 4mm damping ALL OVER THE CAR NO Concrete, NO attachment of the box to the wall (to reinforce the car. Easy spoken JUST a street car with a higher box.
The last 5 months I thought in the same way like dB Steve or Ray. Now all people I told that, are kind of "screwed" and maybe mad about me? Im not guilty...
I think Wayne should do something soon. Also I think, its better to use the "heavy mods" for now because of the confusion. This mods cant be removed so easy and unmodded cars can be modded now...

Seems simple enough. If you can't figure that out ... then try a different class.
Good answer Steve !

So you are allowed to do this following things ins street Max:
Remove Back Seats out behing B-Pillar ? Remove everything original parts, like belt, carpet, ... behind the B-Pillar ? To glue the Wall into the Car, roof, bottom behind the B-Pillar ? Not more as 4 mm damping everywhere before the B-Pillar ! Steel Braces are also allowed behind the B-Pillar ?
But you are not allowed to cut out the bottom for enclosre, and alos not allowed 16 Volts, ....
So please answer this following, and how is certified Judge, you know guys Finals are in 1-3 weeks and we have this rule not clear !
