Topic: ok IR repeter......yah or nay?
ok so i got a clarion indash dvd player now.... well the remote does not work outside the car(no matter what i do)... so here is what i came up with to fix that...just need to know if it is breaking the rules or not. ok i had the idea of using 2 IR repeters on on the door panel and the other facing the eye of the deck so i can use my remote on the outside of the car. would this break any rules.... an IR repeter is only the size of an LED. -------------------- 2007 - Team SUNDOWN AUDIO! 8 sundown 1500d's 4 DD 9515's 1 H-O-alt 5 Kinetik 2400's Bassrace ~ 149.6db and climbing burp ~ 153.0db

Or just purchase one of Clarion's smaller remotes that they use with the CD players, it will do the basic functions on the in dash and work from a lot farther away. -------------------- Quietest member of Broken Silence Competition Club

I was going to sell u mine for 700. but o well. You are allowed to use a IR repeater. due to the fact that street cars are not allowed to have podiums. A repeater is the only way we can effectively control our decks though tint. -------------------- Evgeny PetrovTeam Urban ArtFX Team Kinetik Power www.decalkits.com Loudest Certified Street A in a 4door trunk car.
