what if someone dont make it to 100 pionts and there not enough shows around him really for that to be feasable? but the a top contender, then they just dont get a invite? how many points are needed?

The only way to get a gaurunteed invite is to have a top 15 certified score in your class and have at least 100 points. If you need points, start driving.

Would hardly be a "world" final if it was only US cars getting an invite.

Even if there is only a handful of "other" countries cars get an invite and even less actually travel and compete.

May seem a small thing to aim for, but this year we are aiming for an WF invite. We have a highish certified and 50+ points already. Heres hoping we can be the first UK car invited [Big Grin] , even if we cant afford to attend [Frown]

don't worry your not the only one.

and to the guy from UK, a lot of europens get invited every year even if they don't have the 100 pints.

And come on Bobby we all can have it as easy as you have it to get points or to go to shows [Big Grin] [Eek!]

Its a fact that most european cars cannot gather over 100 points due to the low number of events held in each country. So we have to live with idea of someday we will be invited... exept we spend a hell of alot of money travelling to other countries every weekend...

Travelling out of the country for you is like going out of state for us. We go on big trips regularly to get points.

That may be true for mainland europeans but not us in the UK.

We normally only travel to other countries for the Euro Finals, this year has seen 4 UK cars competing in other countries, mainly for certified scores and extra points.

If the ferry accross to europe was cheaper we would do it more often.

Maybe if we were alowed at least 1 triple pointer in the UK this year, it would be easyer for us to get the points required....

Oh, there is a fantastic show oppertunity this weekend for a multi point event.

I just went through the entire list of 138 competitors invited to world finals 03 and only one had less than 100 points. It was a competitor from Mexico and he had 72 pts. It isnt hard for US competitors to get 100 points if the want to compete at Finals. If you want to go bad enough, then get to work.

I know that whenever i have to go to another country to compete i need 400 euro just for the ship to take me from Greece to Italy and back. Just for the record i paid over 2500 euro just to compete in Sinsheim Germany. I had to load the car on to a truck and back, plus drivers food and stay..It was alot.. So i guess its much easier for the guys in the USA to just drive through the states and compete rather that some European countries.
