i have a 98 camry and i was wondering in the back where the rear speakers sit the 6x9's am i allowed to cut a hold in the middle of those to allow more air to come into the car for competition. im want to be in street max 1-2? anyone have any input on that thanks. also in steet max 1-2 is the car allowed to be on thanks again guys

yes you can cut a hole and no your car can not be running.

ok well even if i cut a hole inbetween the rear 6x9's no matter how big it is i will still be in street max 1-2 ?? i just want to make sure because i have a few competitions comming up thanks again for your help

i was wondering if someone else was going to help me answer this question im going to be dropping my car off at the shop to get it modifed and i need to know if can cut a hole in the rear between the 6x9's no matter what size the hole is and still say in street max 1-2

As Steve said, you can cut a hole.
In Street Max you can build a wall, so you can also cut any size hole you want in your reardeck.

in Street Max, your not allowed to cut the floor for a battery box or an enclosure. If your cutting out the rear deck to allow for a wall, then no.

If your cutting out the rear deck cause your keeping your subs in the trunk and you want more bass up front, then yes you can. Cutting out the rear deck is a common practice for shops. Most rear decks already have holes in it. Some shops remove the rear speakers to allow more bass to come through.
