This is what I read in the other new rules topic :

Ok as long as:
30" rod test passes
no holes in the 'transition area
no pockets to trap the pressure
must have trailing edge to dash

This means EVERY CAR haves to be a slanted front for the dash?And the slanted front must pass the 30" rod everywhere? (that would mean that the dash haves to be 30" far from the roof...)

Are cars like this

illegal by now???
I just finshed to rebuild my dash very similiar to that.... [Eek!] [Confused]

from reading your post, I would think you understand correctly.

The dashes don't have to be square and straight. The slant or angle does apply to the 30" rod test ( only that area between the B-pillar and the top of the OEM windshield. )
