I wanted to know what the OFFICIAL rule is on this. I know that an 8 is considered a sub for db drags reasons. I know that no subs can be front of the door jam.

Now what is the official rule if its used as a mid in the kick or door pannel. Can the amp to the speaker be unhooked and or removed from the vehicle? Can the speaker simple be covered with a piece of wood that will attatch to the face of it.

What can be done...officially if an 8 is used as a mid. Or do that have to be removed..
