Wayne, in several of your post's, you have mentioned, getting sponsor help for the monster class competitors. Well, at present, we are partly sponsored by two great companies. JL, and Planet Audio, the deal is, they are giving us cost on product, or alittle below. This helps alot, but we are a family run Team, and worked very hard, for the last 3 years, just to get these sponsors. WE spent right at 6000.00 in travel expense's last season, and that includes the event fee's. Now that might not sound like much, but, when you have a family of 5 to support. And your yearly income is less then 20000.00, it was a very tight year. But the family really loves this sport, and its something we can be proud to do together. We are so proud to finally have our name in the history books, by taking 5th at the Db Drag World Finals 2000. People dont realize what it took for us to get there. Everything we did to our car was done in our back yard, no garage, out in the open. The only tools we used was a skil saw, and a cordless drill. We used regular 5 ply plywood from lowe's, everything else pretty much came from Wal-Mart. Yes, all are extra batteries came from Wal-Mart, caulk, monster cable, etc. So it was pure Db Drag competitor spirit, and dedication that got us to where we are now. We are already stuck in the monster class, due to having 18 12's, and we can not afford a complete tear down and rebuild to enter another class. So, what we are trying to finally ask, is. Would you be willing to send a letter of recommendation, to our sponsor's. This would let them know how important this new monster class is to the sport, and may encourage them to help us out more on their products. And possibly pick up more sponsors. We know this is a long letter, thank you for your patience. Have a happy holiday, from Team Noise.

I will be more than happy to help in any way that I can. I have pretty tight relationships with almost everyone in the industry, and if you let me know what you have, and what your plans are for the season, I will definately work to get you a sponsorship.
I believe that most manufacturers would be willing to sponsor a vehicle if they feel like they would get a good return on investment. I sugges you put together a portfolio for your vehicle, what events you have won, and what your plans are for 2001. Also, don't limit yourself to just one manufacturer as each manufacturer probably won't be willing to foot the entire bill for your expenses. Take a cue from Alma. She has a LOT of sponsors.
I do believe that the Monster vehicles will have the easiest time getting sponsorships as these vehicles are so extraordinary.
Good luck this season.
