I was reading the 2000 rules because I am thinking of building an SPL car. I have only been to one DB Dragrace before, it was one of Kenwood's sponsored events near my hometown.In this event all the competitors stayed in their vehicles during competitions. In the rules on Termpro's homesite it states that the competitor may not be inside the vehicle if the SPL reaches over 140db's. How are you supposed to do this? Do you have to hook up some kind of control box to start the cd and tweak the system during competition? Or are you supposed to just hit play and pray?
