I know someone brought up the topic of moving up classes at a show, before it starts, and you said you must have the equipment in the car. Say I am in street 1-2, but want to compete in street 3-4, and I have a spair sub with me, may I count that as a 3rd sub, even though it is not hooked up or in a box? I know this rule applies with the 600 watt cap, and an interrior amp would put me over the 600 watt limit, so I am assuming that just having the sub in the car would count as well? Thank You in advance

The equipment must be permanently installed and connected to the system. You can't just throw a woofer into the trunk and then enter another class.
