In the rule book it states, that in the street class 1-2 the maximum RMS rating on the amp must be under 600 watts.....So if I was looking at the dealer sheet, and the only RMS rating was 600 watts, but it also clearly states that the amp will do 1800 watts, but not RMS...is it legal.....I just want a clearer idea of the rule.....All I need is a Yes if it is LEGAL... No. We'll probably end up testing this amp. It sounds like they are rating the amp at 4 ohms but it has the capability to produce much more power at a lower impedance.
