Will this class be allowed to go to finals and do the get points?

Lastly...I know someone can change cars just so the 50% point rule is followed but what about classes?

We are probably not going to offer the Street Classes at finals. Here is our current thinking...

    * Street vehicles are not representative of what we believe a "world class" competition vehicle should be.
    * We want to protect the participants in this division from "snipers." (These are heavy hitters who just want the "easy win.")
    * The "slots" that these cars take up at the Finals displace other, more impressive vehicles.

The Street Division is intended for the most novice, entry level competitor. Realistically, a competitor shouldn't compete in Street more than a few times.

If we don't have a Street Division at Finals, we will use points that are accrued in the Street Class as follows...

    * At least 50% of the competitor's QUALIFYING points must have been earned in a non-street division.

As for your question on switching classes, their are no restrictions. In fact, the dBDRA likes to see competitors enter the season with 6x9's and end the season with a wall.

Hope this answers your questions.
