I have seen Extreme Class cars with custom consoles attached to the speaker wall. Is this allowed or does it violate the string test. Also, if the roof build down touches the wall, does this violate the string test.

Does the string have to pass from the top of the door to the bottom, or does the string test rule apply to the speaker wall only?

Custom consoles and roof build downs may be attached to the speaker wall as long as they are not part of the enclosure.
