in the street class could i use abs plastic to make a new new trim panel to mount my head unit. there is a unsightly gap under my hu with the factory trim ring so i wanted to replace it and flush mount my cd player. this would provide no structual support to the vehicle so would this be allowed or is it considered a modification to the passenger compartment? i just want the install to look better.
