hi, I want to tint my car with the windshield. because you need to see the sensor even when the measurement is how much you have to ask my leave for the sensor. demands a circle around the sensor, or should the district have been 20cm diameter? one must see the cable or reaches it when you see the sensor?

Mike
Mike, in many countries you can put tint on the windshield, like 10 or 15% on the windshield.
The answer is in the rules, 6" around the sensor.
ya and if im right this is in an extreme car in street i know in my state ya can not tint the front window only a small 4 in strip across the top.
also if im right there is a 12 in rule around the mic so i dont know how it is in your state but here in mass big no no

4-5 The officiating staff must be afforded a clear view inside of the vehicle when looking through the windshield and side windows of the vehicle. Window tint, stickers, or other materials which could occlude the judge's view may not be placed on the windshield within a 6 inch (15.24 cm) radius of the sensor placement location."

Murilo, I couldnt see through your tint at all. Every window was tinted dark black on the car, even the front windshield.

ok maybe some one can explain this to me? Why would you tint all the windows on the car? is it you don't want anyone to see the setup that will be inspected by the judges anyway? is there a gain to tinting the windows? will have to test that? now here is the real question! I know there has been a lot of things going around about how this country or that country are cheating! one thing I will say is not right how can you have two differant contries competing in the same class when the rules are differant!! I don't care which way they go with the rules but in the USA that is not leagal!! and if there is a gain to adding tint to the windsheild then that should be concidered an unfair advantage (cheating) and be DQed!! this all goes back to a post I made on another topic. The responabilty falls on Wayne to ensure that all of the DB drag judges are following the same rules no matter what country you are in!! I see this becomming an issue that Wayne will ahve to resolve soon or look forward to what is left of the DB drag compettitors going to MECA like the rest have!! So someone put together a plan to get this worked out!

keeps it cooler in the car. So the gain wouldnt be from the tint itself but instead a non-direct result it.

what class is this car started in? Can u look to the outside from the inside?
Just some questions...
Hi, This car compete in Super Street Classes Yes, you can look from inside.
The windowfilm used is semi reflective and was placed on the outside of the car.
Being semi reflective not prevent the observation from the outside ... only prevents flash shots
The car was open to inspection by the judges throughout the event.
In this picture the judge is seeking the sensor cable. This Cable fell to be misplaced during the burp. This fact appears in on scores 152.2 db.
I did not intend to hide, cheat, etc.. My score was honest. I am relaxed about work done on that car. If there is any fault, sorry ... was done unintentionally wrong ... did not win anything with it. Excuse my bad English Cesar
