just a quick note to all those who dont appreciate the playground we are given....DBDrag racing exists because retailers sell products...in turn getting local competitors involved in the "industry"..the retailer then will decide to host a show if they so choose...now with that in mind what car audio shop can you go to and buy welding wire???thats right...NONE of them...this is the way dbdrag racing was created...sadly too many have access to too much...and no one is to blame more than the manufactures

i think the reason y some people go to welding wire is cause of the prices alot of shops sell 1/0 at like 5-7bucks a foot(in canada) and welding wire is like 2.75 a foot

Then drag must go after the welding supply business, they have more cash than car audio mfg last i checked there everywere also. one reason the sport has declined is not going for out of the box sponsors??? look at redbull etc

p.s. many builds use steel i have seen name brand welders on those builds, why not go for welding companies and steel companies we buy product from them and they have far more cash.

what is the definition of welding wire? last time i checked it is the same thing, different color insulation, but luckily my new company I just started 2 seconds ago sells car audio 1/0 with black insulation.

there is no way this is going to happen. How about bus bars?
I once bought speaker wire at a hardware store, can I use that?

You can get wire off the net for as cheap as welding wire anyway...I got my Audiopipe wire for like $1 per foot and its good wire...sure there are better out there but its definately better and cheaper than welding wire
