Have a question about mounting speaker amps in front of the B pillars in Super Street class. Im sure there is no issues here but need to be sure for finals.
The build is a Bassrace and dB Drag vehicle. I have my 2 front stage amps mounted in front of the B pillars in the center console. I personally have read the rules over many times and from what i have read i am with in the rules. But my local 3x judge insists i should make sure its fully legal for finals.
The rules clearly state amps can be mounted in front as long as no other rules are violated. My vehicle is a daily driver so i still have 2 functioning seats and seat belts. Nothing in the cab is impaired due to the install of the amps.

I know Neill Barber had his amps mounted in his front doors at Finals last year and it was ok for SS 5+

Well in a message Mike told me he would deem it illegal. Said it was a modification in front f the B. But the rules also state you can build a custom console being it is under 2 cubes in volume and must allow the string test and under the window line. I am 100% sure myself that everything i have done is legal but you never know how a judge will interrupt it.
