It may be the angle but that port looks way over the window line.

As for DKs build, thats his current install for BassRace, I have no idea if they had those door cards in last year, they may not.

Roof lining has to be replaced, it cant just be mat. It also has to be of similar construction, if it was suspended it has to be suspended.

Those doorpanels was judged legal in Sinsheim 2006 (and no, i didnt have a saying in judging this car, as its a danish car.)

Prior to that event, i had a discussion with Team DK, as they knew other competitors had used silicone to glue the doorpanels onto the doors.
I told them, they couldnt use any kind of glue, and the doorpanels must be easy removable.
Meaning they couldnt seal off the openings between the panel and door with silicone, and they could only use a screwdriver (they had like 10 - 12 screws in each panel then), to remove the panels.
(Other competitor couldnt hardly remove their panels, as they was sealed with silicone etc. So they had to cut them loose.)

I really dont like these panels, and there are also other things that i allow only becourse the majority of judges allow it.
In fact, i have suggested for several years, that interiors in the Street classes should be STOCK.
But it seem, not enough want to change this [Frown]

oh well, this is part of the reason, that i only focus on Bass Race in Denmark now.
Nobody tries to circumvent the rules, nobody bitches about what is allowed and not.
Now its just Fun [Smile]

Cool cool so what did the use for panels and what were they OEM.

And if i can get a USA judge to rule on this i think if its good for over seas it should be good here as well what ya think.

What is the ruling on Thickness of material being used.

The rule book has a lot of gray areas.
Thanks for helping out with some info.

As long as the seat maintains normal function the amp "mounted" to the seat is perfectly legal.

Notice I said "mount" the amp on the seat. Not "lay" the amp on it.

Need some ruling on the topic please judges thanks USA Judges.

Thanks for answering the questions over seas.

But i here to many things that are ok that some over here say no. So know what is good there is not here how is this fair I just need a ruling so i can copy past it so when i go to finales there is no taken words out of anyone's mouths.

I hate gray area`s and i to want to play by the rules just like every one els should be. So a ruling on this is needed. Not to step on any ones toes. I just would like to get a start on a new begining. [Razz]

You should try sending a PM to Bill and Erie and see what they say, maybe send one to Sam too. This would be faster than waiting for one of them to reply to this post. I have Bill and Erie's phone numbers too, let me know if you wanna call them instead.

OEM or equivalent.

Plastic of the same type and thickness or MDF/ply in the thickness stated in the rule book.

Its written down, follow the rules and you will be fine.
