yes i think the loudest spl in a state should get and invite and also the states points leaders why not, finals and other events are getting smaller not bigger.
but then you have competitors that play at 1 event and they would have an invitation for world finals, becaus they are the loudest and wont pay the cost for more events:confused: may opinion, if you have the $$$ to build a world car, than you have the $$$ to go to more shows to get your points like everybody els

am sorry but the U.S. economy is in a deep hole! i posted this a year and a half ago, hundreds of shops have gone under even mfg our business is down 30% many of my friends are down 60%+ the money is not there and it is not going to get better anytime soon

Not meaning to get involved where I dont belong but. There are 2 shows in cali this month, and 1 in Az and 1 in Cali next month. all 1X
Even if some are 5 hours away and some are 8 hours away. To me its plenty close as I drive to 6-7 hours to Buffalo all the time.

X2 and take your negativity somewhere else we all know about the economy and all whats going on in the car audio industry we don't need to hear it everytime you make a post. The strong will survive and the rest will adapt to the demands of the industry.

The truth is not Neg! just because you want to put your head in the sand and not see the truth is your problem, the economy will effect how people get out to earn points, there were even comments about this from Sbn fuel is now already over $5.00 in north cali, like it or not i see a points change in the future because if not this years finals will be even smaller than last, if you look at my stats over 8 shows and still no 75 points with mostly 1st place put that out of state 20k plus $$$ for a finals invite?

p.s. don't forget how drag and other orgs work, the retailer books shows to bring them a boost in business, when retailers are going away, or hold back on cost that means no shows, that means no points or going futher to get points, many retailers here in the heart of car audio mfg never heard of db drag? and many see no return on hosting a show.

Thats not how it always works. I am not affiliated with any retailer but I am planning on holding 2 shows this year. I will have the shows in an area that is Neutral and I am going to invite all the local car audio shops, rim shops, detailing shops, and maybe some car dealers to come by and represent. One idea is to have a show at a local go kart track.
Anyone can book a show, make an event out of it. Grow the organization, everybody has a part in it.

some people have shows yes for the points or don't care about any gain of having a show just a good time, but with many hurting in he walet there not hosting anything, you can see this in all the orgs show list so far for 2008 look at last years shows and then look at 2008 list, big drop off

Its still early in the season. Its common for more shows to pop up as the summer goes on. We wont really see any trend (up or down) Until October and all is said and done.

And my shows will not be for just points, I can get 75-100 points very easily, I already have over 40 this season. Its to give RazorLite exposure and try and get car audio spread to the people in my area that are interested but not exposed too much. I want shops in the area to come out so the people that attend the show are aware that these shops exist and are close to them. And there hasnt been a show close to me in at least 5 years, I want to bring it back to the area. The people want it, if a shop isnt willing to bring it for the people, I will bring it for the people and hopefully get the industry some exposure in the process.
