Do all 75 points that are required to attend finals have to be obtained with the vehicle that we will be taking to finals? Or can half of the required points be obtained with another vehicle?

I beleive it's the same as the past Scott half the points need to be obtained with the vehicle being run at finals

not that I doubt what you are saying, but is that actually in the 2008 rules? I looked through and didnt see it anywhere.

While competitors may switch competition vehicles at any time, at least 50% of the competitor's qualifying points must have been earned with the vehicle that will be competing at the Finals. (For example: If 100 points are required to qualify for the Finals, at least 50 points must have been earned with the vehicle that will be competing at the Finals.)

well i like the fact that we will have a finals location in NV this year but were in the world can we get 75 points in south cali this season, have not seen a drag yet this year down here? and gas is already $4.00 and going up

You didn't look to hard there was a 2x in lake perris a little while back. There was a 3x and a 1x in AZ and before you say it's to far it wasn't to far for you to come to AZ for a 1x usac a while back. There's a 1x in Tucson at the end of the month also. Hell thats 48 points you missed so early in the season.

never saw anything on perris and i do that show its not far from me and use to be a 3x? the others would cost at least a grand when your towing a car hell i spent $200 just going to PH in my crx yet alone towing a car. there use to be a show every month or two here

just don't want to run into a raw deal again with drag, one year i was state points leader in street c in all of cali was short like 11 points and did not get a finals invite, do just 1-2 usaci or idbl shows and your in finals because of the lack of shows

I towed my van to lake perris from AZ 175.00 I drive my 06 Altima v-6 to central cal from AZ and it only costs 135.00 round trip. There's shows you just need to go and not complain about it. Just do it or leave it be.

I would rather earn a spot at finals instead of getting one by default due to not enough shows in your area. Feels better to earn something than to just have it handed to you.

Take this any way you want I don't know you but I see what you post all the time I see alot of excuses and claims of what your car can do so excuses are like assholes eveyone's got one so why don't you just get to a show and put some #'s up if you don't want to do it then don't come on here and complain about it let it be.

so you did not have to rent a truck and trailer like i do for each show? you know what that cost? plus how many times do i have to be a state point leader to get and invite do you know what that means? in my class no one in the whole state of cali earned more points than me? no one spents thosands of dollars like i did, clearly it cost way more to compete now and there are less shows so the points curve should drop also. it does with the other orgs, and check my sig again please

I got an invite in 2006 I wasn't the points leader in my class but I went to all the shows I could and earned enough points had a certified score. You keep complaining about being short on points and not getting an invite there are shows in central cal and nor cal what more do you want everybody has to travel to get points so if you want to go to finals go to shows if not quit complaining about it!

points did drop from 100 to75 did it not? )eople will always bitch no matter what. trying driving ATLEAST 5 hours for anything over a 1x, and hell, besides the shows i helped throw last year it was 2 1/2+ hours to a 1x show each way
