The "rumor" is that Alan was taking money to make Craigs van lose.
I for one think that is the biggest crock of S*** I've ever heard.
Look, you may like him, you may hate him. One thing thats for sure is that he obviously takes a LOT of pride in his hard work. Do you really think someone that takes that much pride in their work ethic, would work on Craigs van 4 times more than his own car, and then sabotage it on purpose for a little cash?
And before someone says "anyone has a price", do you really think Pioneer or Scott for that matter would pony up enough money to pay him off? How big a deal do you think winning really is??
I personally think its a slap to the face of Alan, Scott, Pioneer, or anyone else thats implied to be in it. Give the respect to Scott for winning when it matters, don't try to turn it into something it isn't.

I consider both you and Alan friends. I think this whole thing is silly. Alan talks alot of shyt, because he can. He is the loudest mfer on the planet.

I first met Alan in 04 at finals, our stall was beside him, and in my few converastions with him he has always been helpful and would tell you about anything you wanted to know. He had a ported bandpass in 04, when most of the guys were still using sealed, and claimed then it would be the future. He is a smart guy, and has always been nicer to me than alot of the "big" guys of DB Drag who want to keep their secrets and keep anyone from getting loud. Alan wants everyone to get loud.

Ok I will refrain from einstein remarks out of due respect, but I think we can both agree if someone is a member of your staff i.e. tech they are a representive of your product/brand.

I know but before Alan being part of STETSOM we was and is a competitor with hot blood in is vains that`s something I can't control. And I know Alan, he can be plenty of things but if you are with him personally you can see is an passionate guy that loves and breathes SPL, I can`t blaim him for what he his and does, but I definitively can disagree with him as a competitor! Regarding his work as a professional i must say is one talented person that can accomplish things and do things that must people cant notice, thats why is loud, he makes researches with everything he can get on his ands and he notices what can and cant be done with does products helping company`s like our to make even more powerfull and reliable products to deliver to you guys.
Don`t get me wrong but let Alan be you all know how he is, is a PASSIONATED guy, like most of you.

thats exactly it, i personally can't stand his arrogance.
He could be the nicest person in the world in person...but the fact still remains every post he makes on here is a reflection of the way he feels.
And just so ya know...its funny that I have so much respect for Scott Owens, Mike Bartell, Mark Holbrook, and all of the guys that do extreme really...but I could talk to them for hours and they would all be really cool to me...
I also heard that Alan came up behind my old truck at a show a few weeks ago, Jacob has 4 sundown 3000s in it...he came up to jacob and told him those were cheap chinese made amps and 1 7kd would be so much louder...so jacob told him to put his money where his mouth is...then he started the whole 180db thing.
a little humility goes along way in my book...if you like the ****y asshole, then thats fine, i honestly wouldn't mind shooting him in the face

and yes miko gave me some pointers on my 175 db van but i did all the work building it and did it in two weeks! How long did it take everyone else to get it right? and it wasnt the same as theres and i dont copy other poeple boxes! all my boxes are my own ideas!and they work.
