I think if db drag do one class for extreme is not a problema, but at list keep the world recordes individual! like this= all compete against every one but the world records go to each class, exemplo: i go against eny competitor with 5+ woofers i beat him , but he gets the world record for extreme 5+ end seconde place on the overal extreme world record! do all the extreme guys in one class but records go to each class! thats my opinon about the extreme class! the other thin is to do extreme professional (with the band pass wall by the b pilar or just speaker wall) extreme amador ,can't use band pass wall only speaker wall by the b pilar, thats will get back lots guys that have they cars at the house, because they can't do the band pass loud ! and same competitors build they cars soul strong thats impossible to change the old setup to the band pass setup! i do need opinion on this before the end the week!db drag is doing the new rules and this will help db drag judes to get the new rules finish!thanks for every one that help the sport get biger!!!!! I hear that super street is going to be bunched closer together than it already is. That will also push more people away as well. yes, very fair. you have proven you do not need to have multiple subs to be loud. Just lots and lots of hard work. You can also do this with limited resources and income as your example.
Scott Owens isn't loud cause he has unlimited income ( aka Pioneer ). He is loud cause he works hard just like everyone else.

I really don't see a reason why ext1 or ext2 classes are proposed to get rid off. This is exactly same thing that combining SS1-2 and ss3-4 to ss5+ class. Quite brutal idea or what
For me it looks that: * It is not a real reason that second loudest ext car in the world is extreme1 car. * It is not a real reason that trophy's costs are so high. * It is not a real reason that time schedules will messed up if 4 ext classes exists
And also "dropping class off" decision should do one year before when it takes action. So in this situation all ext class should stay same for season 2008. And if something HAS TO BE change it should do for season 2009.
Of course if DBDRAG want to say for competitors in EXT classes that "we don't need you, please go away" then i should keep my mouth shut up and forgot all my thoughts

I trip out on this whole "tropheys cost too much," they dont cost as much as the tank of gas competitors spend going to the event but they are reason enough to limit the amount of classes, to me thats just crap

i can do idbl now and NSPL ... db drag will be seconde place for me now! i was gona do db drag this month , but i will not run my car at this event eny more, its nspl and idbl arould here why do db drag if they don't care ! if you think its fair ok ... but its not fair! but i love when i kick every one ass at finals with car that i build in my house! Steve if i have the money that same competitors have i will be much louder ,but money is a big problema , for smal competitor like me... if i did biger scores is because i know what i am doing! in 3 months i have Craig butler van louder then pionner truck... imagine 3 years working in 5+ car the number will get crazy loud!

Mikko you guys have idbl in finland? if soul lets do idbl... db drag is not respecting the opinion from they clientes... if every one don't like the new rules why do? man idbl we can get louder because the way the rules are... esk all your friends to post they opinion here!

I have to agree with scott on this one. But we need to get the factories interested again! Lets face it, with the cost of being the least bit competitive in any class is crazy, and very few companies can benefit from sponsoring anybody. look at the euipment used, walk the lanes at finals, you see almost only 2 or 3 differnt brands, but these products are required to win. yes enclosure design is alot, but its not most of it, it takes tons of real power and top(way top) of the line subs. The reason i didnt return in 06 was from lack of funds after a broken promise from a sponsor, and without a sponsor i coudnt afford to build the bandpass. So i walked, and regret it to this day, but my bank account dosnt. Get the factories involved again and i think you will see alot of old and new faces in the lanes again. But this falls into the hands of the man in charge, he has to make some changes to make it in the factories best interest to get involved. But it dosnt really cost any extra to keep the classes as they are. If you have a show and dont have any entries, you still have the trophie for the next show. Alan...why do you always have to point out at other people and talk so much about what you have done? you are complaining about money.....i am sure that craig did not have a problem paying for things on that van that you built in 3 months that was louder than the "pioneer truck".........oh wait only one time at some small event and you guys could never back it up! how many times did i beat craig this year 5 or 6? i lost count!

Ok about the rules. and combining ext. Just for us if you combine all ext. we will be forced out. we have 2 ext. cars....why would we enter them against each other? I dont understand how combining 4 classes down to one could ever make anything better.

i would hate to see that. lose 2 good competitors and then pioneer will start to rethink things. pioneer isnt really "one" of the big amp(4 feet long..lol.) companies, but yet they sponsor db drag full force.

We feel bad for you guys! 2 vechicles in the same class is not good. I`m glad all extreme competers think the same way.
It`s easy to sit back and talk about extreme class`s when you dont compete in extreme. Such as street competers posting like combining classes isnt a big deal............................. I see it so many times on here. For us this is our way of life, for real. Ask anyone as well as others who have posted who compete in extreme. And "kicking" us out by combining all classes hurts really bad. We dont do this sport for the money, only for the hobby and for the fun. 1 class in extreme will hurt dbdrag in the future.
