Riprock came up with this idea and told me, I have posted it in a few topics and they have too but not one seems to care. All of these fuse ideas have loops holes and gray areas, just more stuff for people to complain about. Why don't we have a set size for amplifiers. Like in street A the amp(s) would have to be smaller then say .66 cubic feet. This way a judge doesn't need to go spend a bunch of money on snap on tools to tell if a battery is good to compete or not, or worry whether fuses have different tolerances. Either your amp(s) are small enough to compete or they aren't and you are bumped up a class.

Just means people will have to buy the smallest most powerful amps, limiting peoples choices and alienating some amps totally.
Manufacturer support would drop.

that and some manufacturers would find ways to pack huge amps into small packages. wont really solve anything for long.

Why do you need a big amp for street though? Generally big amps cost a lot of money. Manufacturers don't even support street class anyways, so who cares if their support that doesn't exhist in street class drops. Judges would be responsible to have an accurate tape measure, 2X and 3X judges must be certified so i doubt they would be dumb enough to carry around a "cheater tape measure".

Manufacters DO sponsor street class Cactussounds,Kicker,Starsound,Atomic, just to name a few (at least in Europe) This idea of "limited amp-size" is stupid, sorry. Just like all the other propositions. Just leave the rules like they are. Nothing wrong with street class rules.
