If I am running my OEM head unit and am over the 140 mark how can I compete if podiums are not allowed and I dont have a remote control? Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Bail out. \

You start the radio and close the door before the timing starts. The car will play for the entire judging time then after the timer hits 0:00 you open the door and trun everything off.

If it is a single point you can use your own cd.
you make your own track 15sec. silence and then a sinus and then silence and you make the playing as Mike said it before!

Why not just buy a new radio that has a remote?

The only remote you can have is the one for the source unit, and it must come with the source unit from the factory.

if your over a 140, you have to be outside the vehicle

you can "bail", meaning have your system playing and the door shut before the meter starts. You can't open your door until the timer has stopped.

or you can purchase a radio with a wireless remote control and use it outside the vehicle. If this is the case, I suggest you purchase a IR repeater to go along with it for a 99% way of making sure it works.

I think the 140 limit should be lifted to 160. Its only short bursts and we sign a waiver anyways. Its out hearing.

Nope.

Part of the fun of Street is controlling the unit outside.
