Judges, please read this topic and please give your opinion about these subjects BEFORE WF, to avoid a lot of commotion.
The following thing I have seen and some done myself during the past 3 year in several Panda's/Marbella's
1) Headliner: - can it be painted? - can it be covered with vinyl?
2) Seatbelts in the back, some Panda's had them stock, others don't. - Do they need to be mounted?
3) Plastic side-pieces where the stock shelf is resting on: - Do they need to be in place?
4) Clamps on the soft backseat, to clamp the seat to the floor of the trunk: - Do they need to be in place? - Do you need to be able to click them in place?
5) Soft backseat: - Can I change the original padding? If yes, whit what? - Could I make my own backseat? If yes, what are the requirements (thickness, padding and fabric material, size, clamps,...)
6) Trunklid cover, some Panda's/Marbella's had them from stock, others don't: - Does it have to be in place?

dose the seat lock and work like it did oem or when it was bought from factory if you take that pice off and it dont work like it did when bought new it has to stay.
5) Soft backseat: - Can I change the original padding? If yes, whit what? - Could I make my own backseat? If yes, what are the requirements (thickness, padding and fabric material, size, clamps,...)
I know the front seats can be changed so ya the back can be as well but with what well you would have to ask sam on that one bro. --------------------------------------------------
6) Trunklid cover, some Panda's/Marbella's had them from stock, others don't: - Does it have to be in place?
This is a hard one just like some yugos some had some add ons and some didnt you can tell what was taken out and what wasnt.
I hope some of this helped ya out bro good luck this yr Sam horn can help ya out on the others if he reads this post.

Problem with the trunklid cover and rear seatbelts is that it depends on year, country and version if they were stock or not.
Pandas/Marbella's were build for almost 20 year in various countries and versions, so it's almost impossible to check if they originaly have those items or not.

The following thing I have seen and some done myself during the past 3 year in several Panda's/Marbella's
1) Headliner: Each panda/marbella has one , so this goos for all off them - can it be painted? - can it be covered with vinyl?
2) Seatbelts in the back, some Panda's had them stock, others don't. This is difficult - Do they need to be mounted?
3) Plastic side-pieces where the stock shelf is resting on: All off them have this - Do they need to be in place?
4) Clamps on the soft backseat, to clamp the seat to the floor of the trunk: Every cloth seat has this , it is intended to secure the seat to the floor and if not interfears with the normal use off the backseat . - Do they need to be in place? - Do you need to be able to click them in place?
5) Soft backseat: As dB Steve allready mentionend after seeing a panda .NO - Can I change the original padding? If yes, whit what? - Could I make my own backseat? If yes, what are the requirements (thickness, padding and fabric material, size, clamps,...)
6) Trunklid cover, some Panda's/Marbella's had them from stock, others don't: This is also difficult - Does it have to be in place? [/q]
There is a doorbox on every panda , dousnt matter what year .
Plastik thingies
These are the seat clips . They are intended to make the seat removable . But when the seat is in place , they have to be secured to the floor to enable normal use off the seat .

Your doorpanels and rear panels are not the original panels. Maybe another thicknes, maybe another upholstery, maybe it's louder so not allowed Now we can start a new topic about doorpanels right??

2) Seatbelts in the back, some Panda's had them stock, others don't. - Do they need to be mounted?
Yes everything that was oem needs stay oem this is what they mean stock.
KLEUVERT::: Off course not. They can out. The first panda in 1984 had no rear seatbelts and front it has only hip belts in Holland -------------------------------------------------
3) Plastic side-pieces where the stock shelf is resting on: - Do they need to be in place?
Ya they do i know mine need to be in there if they were there stock then they need be there.
KLEUVERT:::This one the same when the panda came out there wasn't So not Stock --------------------------------------------------
4) Clamps on the soft backseat, to clamp the seat to the floor of the trunk: - Do they need to be in place? - Do you need to be able to click them in place?
dose the seat lock and work like it did oem or when it was bought from factory if you take that pice off and it dont work like it did when bought new it has to stay. KLEUVERT:::It has to stay but it don't have to work. The seat works fine wihout clamped them. So it must there but it don't have to be clamped.
KLEUVERT:::Take the hole seat out. Then it's the same as the CRX in America. When they say there Europe has to be the same as Amerika. Fine. But then they have to be the same as europe. And europe don't know a car in street without the rearseat. So seat out ore seat in for the hole world.
KLEUVERT:::This one dos not have to be in. There are a lot of country's where there are not in. Like Holland and Germany.
The hole problem with the panda is that the car have so many sells. There are over europe so many different versions. Every country has is own distributor that make the car how they wont the car has to be. For example in Holland we pay more taxes then every other country in europe for new cars. So the distributor try to make the car cheaper to get it the sme price as every other country. So no moutnig place for an radio, no demping or woll in places etc tec. So the first panda here in Holland was nothing then a piece of steel with wheels and steerwheel. When you like it ore not. So the go Wim and i to a competition in France. The they say you don't have an trunckplate in it. I say no there wasn't. He say's yes it has to be in. I say but i never seen it before. He say dosn't matter it must to be in. So when we where home from France about 800km driving and not played because the DQ. Searching on scrap yards for an trunckplate. There isn't in Holland. So whe only can play in Germany and Holland with the car. Otherwise we get a DQ. The judges Don't know what a panda is. Maybe for there own country but not over hole europe. So i don't know how they wanne judge the cars there but when they DQ cars about things that is country related. Then they make a big mistake.

I don´t want to open a new topic so I ask a Seat Marbella question, which is not clear to me, after this topic.
Is it allowed to replace the big door cards (front and trunk)in the Marbella to the small one the Panda has? (showed in the pics above)
I saw this in some top competitors cars but i am not sure if this is equivalent to oem????????
Kleuverts explanations looks clear for me, can this confirm any Judge?
Yes you can there are a lot of Bella's in the Netherlands have the same as Panda from factory. Then iám not talking about competitors but cars from customers. I work as an mechanicer by Seat,VW,Audi. Further i have 2 collegas that worked for over 10years by Fiat.
So please don't tell me wat's in a bella ore panda Maybe i can give all Headjudges Sometime an workshop Iám also trainer at work so i can make nice presentations.

New question about your car Dieter or Patrick. I see that the leftrearview mirror can't changed from the inside. Is it not normal that there is an pin on. The plate above it with the 3 screws is not an 1cm thick mdf plate i hope. I only have seen the orginals in Holland. And by us the left mirror must be changed from the inside for APK. Only Van's like the terra don't. Then a window have to be open to chage the mirors view.

Those are standard mirrors, it's just a plastic plate on the inside (same as on the right side), you have to open the window to adjust the mirrors

it is a removable panel where you put in the radio so you can place the radio where you want it isn't even a standard piece of the car it's an option in the past people played with a radio in a blanket or towel
@ kleuver: my bella had the same mirrors like dieters car have I also had to open the window to change them
