At finals or a multi point must it be demonstrated that the sunroof in a crx Si is functional?

No silicone, It will motorize back, except not forward and is a huge bitch to get to go back forward, Combination of turning the manual bolt to close it, pressing the electric switch and pushing on it with hands.

Also, Does the part which is the front face of the OEM cargo area looking backward have to be there, but folded down or Can I remove it completely?

The sunroof does not have to be operational, although the sun roof motors are dirt cheap at the boneyard.

You can remove the cargo cover completely, as most will do for installs anyway.

It is not the cargo cover I am asking about, it is the front face which is flush with the rear speakers, Am I only allowed to fold it down or can I remove it completely? it is on a hinge.

You can remove that entire piece completely; I have yet to see an SPL CRX with it not removed. Most even remove the plastic piece that is screwed down to the front of the cargo container, although I would personally consider to be removing an OEM element.

Take the switch out and clean it's contacts, also make sure the tracks have no grease build up... Most likely it will work again...Try clickin the switch 100 times that works too! [Smile]
