ok so i just build a new box for ss1-2 nw but here is my question. I have a bulk tread bolt run though the top of the box... the bolt is above my window line... is this going to move in the the SS1-2 class or will i be able to stay in ss1-2 nw?

it is a part off the box and its above the window line
so yes you will be moved to SS 1-2

yes you would move up. can you cut it down just after the nut and clear the window line?

Buy a metal hacksaw blade and a good pair of gloves. You should be surpised at how well it will cut it. Take your time and be prepared to cuss a lot.

do a grinder or even a sawzall instead of a hand tool youll be happy you did.

Hacksaw will do the trick. I did a couple 3/4" threaded rods in under 5 minutes or so, just be sure they are steady in place and rip into it.
