Ok, now I've read and seen post's about sunroof ruleing's. If it doesn't open you can't run street class or super street....RIGHT ?

Now my car came with a dealer installed sunroof, like many car's(not factory, but install before the car was sold by dealer) So it's is oem,but at the same time it's not. Now mine leak's BAD,and just reactnely had one of the lock's break off. I was forced to sicolone it it. Since it's no longer open's would this put me in what, extreme ? If it does put me in extreme, would I be able to compete at 2x and 3x point's in extreme....with no other type's of extreme mod's. Now I know I wouldn't be HIGH SPL like you would exepect from this class but is that legal ?????

Now for the sake of augurment would this car be able to compete at world final's in what class, extreme ????

The cure....would it be "legal" to take my car to a shop and have a "new after market" sunroof installed that was the same size ?
---------------OR---------
would I be allowed to REMOVE the sunroof and weld a "patch" and reinstall the FACTORY roof brace from a car the same year and make ? The patch would only be large enough to "cover" the whole. NOW if that'a legal would I be able to use "body filler" to cover the seam on the out side of the car and make it look factory or would it just have to be "seam sealed" and left at that. What about a headliner, need the whole thing of could it be patched.

Could I get a ruleing by a 2x or 3x Judge ????

i have replaced a whole skin on a car to get round this problem, that is only way to be 100% sure it will be legal, and it isn't to big a job for a proper bodyshop!

no risks and been as your getting roof painted if you patch it similar cost!

The best solution is as Adam has said above, fit a new roof skin.
