Hey neill...is oem...where you go into a dealership and buy a car with "certian option". Or one that was built at the factory...cause i think there will be alot of no wallers that might go buy a handicap van if this is the case.... [Wink] I emailed wayne about this very subject years ago never got a straight answer. If they arnt legal I wonder why a hearse is and it is made exsactly the same way...by a 3rd party..with custom parts.

Can someone explain to me wtf this thread is about anyway?

A glasstop crx is upwards of $5500. And that is USUALLY for a beat one. There is no way I'd use one that expensive and RARE for dB Drag.

If someone wants to do it, I'd have NO problem going against them. I'm not one of the bitches that cry about petty ****.

I just pick on the bitches that do.

Get it?

They arent really rare or expensive. I can get one with no rust in very good shape for $3000 canadian. For a half decent one that has some decent rust around the wheel wells and is a USDM one it will cost at least $4500 canadian, and more then likey has had people ****ing around with **** in it, taking it apart and hacking it back toegether

That's cause you're a Cannuck.

Locally, I can get a USDM for about $1000. A nice one for roughly $3000. Keep in mind, I'm in the south, and rust is no issue here.

Your stuff is more expensive here, and my stuff is more expensive there. I've been lloking into importing a RHD one, but the paperwork and regulations are pricey and ridiculous.

It's a common thing to see a RHD crx in your area though....

Yep, All of the nice and good condition ones here either are imported from japan seeing as how it is quite easy to do here, or they are only driven about 2-4 months of the year

Yeah, no doubt.
This last week I worked on more right hnad drive vehicles at my shop then left.
I don't think any car audio shop in the states has ever seen 2 skylines in the same day.
Too bad all the domestics here are a dying breed, and all the USDM CRX's are overpriced ****bags that have all been rear ended... twice.

I say get the car, and all the haters can cry and whine. I don't think you'll get DQ'd, but crazier things have happened.

I bet I could get DQ'd andy, because glass probably has a higher resonant frequency then metal, that is why I started this topic.

You guys had 2 skylines today? We had a right hand drive Mitsubishi Delica that is some weird little bus that looks like a toaster, and a few toyota 4runners/landcruisers etc lately.
