Say I had a shocker motor laying around, got a basket from another sub, and a recone from another company, this would all be legal to run in street classes given that all parts were/at one time avaiable for consumer purchase correct?

So i can use diffrent parts from diffrent subs and this will be good to go In street.

How about doing this with amps? Can someone use a power supply from one amp and an output stage from another and put in a third amp's heat sink? I know of plenty amps that would be better if they only had a better power supply.

if they are availeble for everybody I would say yes

somehow i dont think thats going to be legal.
subs are meant to be user rebuilt/reconed..
amps aren't.
but i'm no judge.

I'd have to agree. Theres always some sort of amp arguement at finals in street.
