Well you can have your points by then, the only reason a certified wouldnt hold up for that would be due to a major rules change.

I dont see the requirements going any higher than they are now, especially with the increased attendance at finals this year.

i was thinking that you cant give points breaks and then expect to be able to take them back the next year.

i cant wait to see if anything happens with the street classes.

What about Battery rules ?
There are already played WR's with multi cell batteries so is this reason why we will see more crazier batteries in this season ??
It is so sad thing that equipment scene has been gone so crazy in Street classes.

How is that a good reason? ... They've done it in the past with other pieces of equipment (ie quads) [Confused]

If you want to keep the amp limits the same that's fine, but that reason seems like a bit of a cop-out to me.

At EF i heard from the judges that they are thinking off changing the equivalent rule for street class . The interior has to be STOCK , nothing can be removed or changed .

I like this !!!!!
That is a street car !!

The only thing that can be done is dampning .
I have said this many times . There can be no discution about an OEM part off a car only a "equivalent replacement".

Something else .
The reason why not to make changes to the rules is because there have allready been 3X events ???

Let the season end at 31 December off the competing year .
That way all the finals , WF EF european country finals , are over . All the records set on these events are set according to that years rules .

WF are almost always 2 months before the year ends , have rules discutions and chnages in those 2 months . Any changes start from 01 januari off the new year .

Eurofinals is the end off the year for the european competitors . Its nice to take the points to 2007 .
But the records schould stay in 2006 , same as WF .
How about memberships ? We pay for 2006 . EF is a 2007 event . I thuoght only members could set WR ?
I bet not 1 competitor thought about that at EF .

If they didn't pay for a membership, then its not a World Record. Several memberships were paid for at the Usaci World Finals 3X dB Drag event. We made sure that everyone that was setting a world record purchased a membership before they did.

If changing the limits would fix the problem, then I would be all for it. But it wont fix the problem, so I am against it.
