It looks like it have 4 connections on it, with treads on it... Is that normal for a battery ?

If the battery has 4 connections with threads on it, it's more likely batcaps inside...

Have i understand right that in future they are counting how many cells are located in one battery or is this ruling concerning only that simple thing that is there placed real capacitors in battery ?

Mikko,

We are (judges) talking about the first question you have (how many "cells" and how many volts are there in a normal 12V battery)

Answer to your other question is: there is not legal to use any kind of capacitors or products that is similar to a capacitor in a battery, if you compete in street....

How do u wanna meassure the voltage of the cells? U need to look at the temperature, charging and what ever........ its almost impossible to get the max. voltage of the cells in my opinion. We have the rule with 14 Volts.... it isnīt enough? We need that rule that when u drive to the lane the voltage has to be <= 14 Volts otherwise u are DQ.... that would be enough and easy to handle. And for me a 12 Volt battery consist of 6 cells... not more or less... otherwise batteries with many cells have an advantage

So that thing is still open how many 2volt cells can be internally connected parallel/series in 12V battery ?

Every body knows that ordinary 12V car battery has 6 cells connected to series.
It has all ready proven that connecting more cells to parallel can give more current(smaller internal resistance). Only problem what i see is that price for that kind of battey is higher than normal 6 cell model.

when u allow batteries with more cells Iīm sure there will be some "home-made" batteries. Its not very difficult to build a case and put some cells into that one.... and to make that "home-made" battery legal, u sell that battery for 2000 euros (of course u have an online-shop and u are a dealer).....

so u have your own battery selling for 2000 Euros -> nobody will buy it because of the high price -> nobody will take a look inside of the battery

Its almost the same like with the HC3200, which was "a little bit" overpriced. A normal battery canīt cost 1599 Euros...

well let me tell you this
there are no fake 3200's they are all the same , when norris posted the first pic off the inside
it was already known by the judges how the batt looked inside

the bottom and the top plate are separate pieces that are glued on the 4 12v batts

just take the top plate off ,take a pic and glue the plate back on

oh , post the pic here when you do this

My brand spanking new Hawker Odyssey 2150 has threads instead of terminal posts.. only 2 of them tho.. it came straight from EnerSys Australia (infact the owner drove it to my house). So yes, some batteries do come with threads instead of posts.

that's what i gathered as well.

i think that all 2150's have threads.

i think all the kinetiks have threads as well.

i assumed tor was talking about the 3200 having 4 posts instead of 3

Dieters has blue internals.

Are they HC600s rather than Batcap 800s?

These have the same dimensions , other colors and differnt brands .

The Kinetik/Batcap is a standard size battery .

http://www.batteryweb.com/csb-detail.cfm?Model=EVX12200

http://www.batteryweb.com/csb-detail.cfm?Model=GP12200

Look at the hawker website under AGM battery .
There you see different manuf.
Look for approx. sizes 7 x 3 x 6.5"
