yes, as long as you follow all the other rules

ie: the window rule, and the conducter rule.

you could run in street b a single 12, with 2 amps, or 4 monoblock strappable amps, as long as you only used 4 conducters total. 2 positives, 2 negatives. ie: a dual coil 12

in street c you could run a single 15 with 4 amps or 8 monoblock strappable ampsm as long as you only used 8 conducters total. 4 positives and 4 negatives. ie: a quad coil 15

You can't have 4 amps or 8 conductors to a single subwoofer.

quote:
From dB Drag Rulebook:

5-4 The program material must be reproduced using conventional loudspeakers (subwoofers). The determination as to whether a loudspeaker is acceptable for use in dB Drag Racing competition shall be at the sole discretion of the dBDRA.

Additional Guidelines:

· A maximum of 4 electrical conductors may be connected to each woofer as long as no other applicable rules are violated.

· A maximum of 2 amplifiers may be connected to each coil on a woofer.

good catch mike.

i was only looking at the matrix, not the full rules.

matrix didnt have any rules concerning number of conducters per woofer for street classes.

When will these links (and the rules pages on the termpro site) be updated for the 2007 season? Everything (with the exception of Psychlone) reflects 2006. If the rules do not change (and Im ok with that) at least the pages need to be updated to reflect the 2007 season and cutoff dates and finals points accrual please [Smile]

Thank you,
