Wayne, I have built my center console the same height as my dashboard, and the dashboard comes out a few inches more than the factory, I can pass the general guidelines with no prob, so my question here is, please explain the phrase "compartmentalize" the interior...does this sound like a violation of that? there is plenty of room to see across the car over the center console. Just wanna doublecheck to make sure I'm in the clear.
