My camper shell on my truck has side windows that slide open. Since I have no room to carry a podium, would it be possible to build a "faceplate" where the window would be?

I guess I need to clarify this.

Would it be legal to slide my side campershell window open to reveal a radio for dB Drag. I can seal it off and everything, and prove that there are no air leaks. It just seems like a logical place to do it since there is so much unusable space by the window. Plus, it is basically where all my wiring is. FYI: My box is all the way in the extended cab, so the paneling prevents most of the bass from making it back there anyways.

Please consider this as it would make my life alot more simple.
