Can I use factory oem alternetors for more power.
I have a couple laying around and i was wondering if i can use them to chrge batteries for my system???

that will work, i just put another alternator in my friends s10, i put another stock alternator where the ac would mount, and put another batt., and it works fine, and full go the gauge doesn't go under 14 volts.

if u want to do somethign sick u can get a fast motor and run that from a battery mount it int he trunka nd then hook up 2 alts back there but then u need to insulate the alts andthe wire so u get no excess noise. i am sure u might get a few install points for sq for this and will get noticed abit more by all the pros but this is very tricky. to reduce noise use high current wire only. and seal of the trunk for unwanted noise or where ever u are putting it.
