Does anyone know and have a link to Tach's that work on chevy astros? Over here in Japan, The DB judges are being tight azz about me being over 2k so I have to install a tach a.s.a.p.

Pretty much any tach will work... you will just need to tap into one of the wires running to the distributor... the installation instructions should show how.

The tach is a white wire at the dist or ecm.

would also be cool to have a small actuator hooked up to the butterfly on the throttle too which is hooked up to a knob on your podium so you can rev it from there aswell
Although i could forsee some safety issues there aswell.

I have an actuator attached to my throttle via a cable calibrated with a digital tachometer @ 1900 rpm and operated by a push on push off switch, I dont currently have a podium, maybe wont ever because of my head unit.

ive seen this done with the cruise control couldnt tell ya how it was done.... but there was a valve and some small tubing to control the vacuum and a switch to turn it on and off
