I have a 2007 Dodge Caliber that i plan to run a Hifonics ZXi6010 and a Hifonics BXI2010D. I currently have stock alt and batt. I plan to add a Kinetik hc2000 but was wondering if anyone had a better option.

Update
I have decided on a Kinetik hc1800 up front (largest that will fit) and a hc2000 or 2400 in the back depending on how much money i have. Question is, is one run of 1/0 awg enough? should i also run the ground from front to back? i have always used knukonceptz cable but at 3.4 a foot is there andywhere else to get cheeper cable that is just as good?

thansk for all the help

shouldnt drop under 12v, XS Power has nice batteries also. Many brands are available, price is usually the deciding factor for most ppl

with an elemental designs NINe.1 and NINe.4 stock alt, batt and big 3 it dropped to just above 12. I would like to stay under 250 but want something that will keep the dimming to a minimum cause it drives me nuts. It has been a while since I have bought batteries so I do not really know what is out there.

Mechman Theres a good guy and a group 34 battery

some forums have batteries for sale in your price range. You can also look into Deka Intimidators, C & D technologies, Odyssey, Optima, ect...

Odyssey and Optima are good recommendations... wouldnt necessarily recommend the others unless its for short term only.

I was replying to the post above mine about the Deka and C&D... but would actually recommend Optima, Odyssey, or XS Power over the Kinetik too. Personally if I'm going to pay that much money for a battery I want something that is gauranteed to last for a few years... just my opinion...

I used to run optima's and they did well for me. The redtops at least. The Yellow's wouldn't ever last more than 2years. I've had reds last over 10years.
After getting my XS Power batteries, I won't ever go back. More power for sure!

is one run of 1/0 enough or should i go with 2 and should a run a ground front to back? reason i ask is because i tend to go overboard and do not want to do the extra work for this daily system.
