Jeff, when are you going to get a Maxxsonics MX-1 for that Sentra?
I'd spend a few bucks on that before batteries. then get the batteries

I run CD Technologies 134ah batteries in my daily driver and my spl car. They are much stronger then the hc2400. Hope this helps.

Buying UPS backup batteries is the most inexpensive way to add capacity to your electrical system, however because of their design intent they are not ideal for car audio setups, either for SPL, or for daily. UPS, or as they are often refered to "stationary" batteries are designed to be placed inside a battery cabinet for back-up power in the event of an outage. "High-Rate" versions are better than "High Capacity" versions because they are designed to start back-up generator engines so their plate design and layout is a little more robust for high current. However, neither design is built for repeated high amp discharge and recharge as is evident by the tiny output terminal. This means they will have a higher capacity, but less of the ability to very quickly discharge current for amplifiers. Between the two options presented in this thread, it's pretty much a toss up. My suggestion would be to look into a battery specifically engineered to withstand the abuse of hard-core sound pressure and vibration as well as the super quick discharge and recharges needed to feed today's big amplifiers. Brands like Odyssey (Stinger) and XS Power can handle this kind of abuse, and are backed by a solid warranty to prove it!
