I currently have an Optima redtop under the hood in my vehicle & a Kinetik hc3800 in the rear.
I am running 2 3500d's with 3 12" nightshades & 8 runs of 1/0 gauge.
What are the best choices for batteries to keep me legal in Street C & also were is a good place to get them & a good price for them?
Thanks.

Do you have a website to look @ those Hawker's, did a google search and it brought up some Odyssey batt's, not sure if its labeled differently in Canada or something..

I thought Hawkers were the same as the Stinger/Odyssey....EXCEPT They are built with recycled lead...which is not as good.

Odyssey/Stinger is the same battery. They both use Hawker cells. PC 2150 is what you are looking for. Shop around $300-350.

It's what I've read on here multiple times. I believe even ScottieJ discussed it before.

I can not use the PC2150 because you're limited to (2)12v 6-cell batteries at 800 Sq. Inches each.
The PC2150 is 831.844 Sq inches.
That is to big unless I am multiplying wrong.....
What about the D3100 that is the biggest I can find, but is it better than the PC1750? Money is no option for the batteries I just want the best that will work for my set up in Street C.

I can vouch for the D3100 being a very strong battery. I run one and love it. The Stinger/Odyssey 1750, I have never tested with in a street situation. From tests I've read, they might be better for straight burps, but the D3100 is probably better for daily

I use 2 of them in street C, measurements are minus the terminals they are under 800 cu in.

The 2150 will leak under certain conditions. Northstar G-3100 would be a better choice for a battery that will be in the car.
