my turn sigs dont want to work and sometime it does i got 2 batterys in my car a stock one and a kinetik i think 2400 i got a memphis 4k and when i burb it...it shuts my cd player and amp off cuz of the volts drop but it seem like my altermator doesnt charge good but i got it tested and its at 15volts and when i hook up a charger to either battery and just turn my car on my turn sigs works can anyone give me an idea and its a stock 105 amp alternator

Well, number one problem is you need way more than a 2400 for a 4kw....those things take a lot of juice to run.....and if you let it shut off too many times, bye bye amp.

when you get the alt checked out. The voltage doesn't matter, you need to make sure its putting out decent amperage.


I'd add another few batteries or I'd put a HO alt on

Memphis 4kws are hogs. I run one daily at 1 ohm and I have a 200 amp alt, Powermaster d3400 up front and a d3100 in the rear. Sometimes even I don't have enough juice.

You aren't even in the ballpark.

well i maybe its a lil bigger battery and i got it at 4ohms and i dont run it all the time...most of the time i have it off but it seem like my car dont charge up at all but it starts all the time

I know 2 people who ran 2 4kw's on 2 2400's daily. Only time he maxxed it out was during his burps.

i use to run 4 4kw's off of 4 kinetik 2400's but i would agree have alt checked bro by a good shop that knows the right way and i would think about getting another batt for that amp but if u don't have a good alt to recharge the batts u still going to be sh*t out of luck

well for the most part i fixed the everything shuting down on me part cuz i went to a event that some shop was putting on since they got meter and stuff... it didnt shut down anything this time but i think my turn sig are shot in my car so need to replace...but is it wrong for me to went and enter that event there was only 3 ppl louder than me and 2 of them had walls and more amp power
