as most of you know, i was always in street max. ran a single hawker 2150.

i had a very agressive charging method for it.

generally swapping between 40 and 100 amps.

now i'm doing just bass race in my daily.

2 kinetik 2400's in the back and a stock battery under the hood for now.

what's gonna be the best charging method for these?

for long term over night charging, as well as for short term quick charging.

for now i have them at 2 amps, but thats less than 1 amp per battery.

at 10 amps its still only 3 amps per battery.

but, 40 seems like it starts to bog down the charger, it didnt do that with my single 2150.

this is the first time i've used 2400's and i have heard they are a little more senstive than my 2150 was.

any reccomendations?

If it were me I would charge the 2 2400's independantly from the stocker at 20-25 amps .. I have also used 100 watt power supplies that are set to 14.5v.

Biggest thing to remember with the kinetiks jay is that they dont like to be charged as high as the 2150.

20-25 amps and when in your truck are u keeping them sep from the stock battery or u charging them all off the stock alt becasue if u do i would really think about doing away with the stock batt and getting another agm 2 different kinds of batts will be fighting each other

i just put them in yesterday. so i have not had them in there connected with the stock bat as of yet.

the stock battery is coming out in three weeks. since after its bagged there is no room for the battery. it will be just the two 24's in the back, with my ohio gen 180amp alt, and the stock alt, until i get the stock one replaced with another ohio gen.

for last night i disconnected the rear bats from the front, and charged them on thier own.
