My 91 Thunderbird has a 220 amp alternator..but only puts out around 80 at Idle..I figure I need a smaller pulley,but short of having one custom made..
I figured I would ask if anybody here makes them or has them available..I'm currently running an MSD 1.65"(42mm) 6 rib pulley..So i need something smaller than that..Any help would be appreciated..Thank You..

most alternators won't do much at idle.

Just get up to 2k rpm or so and it won't be a big deal [Smile]

See if Car Godz in Holland OH has something I know that they should be able to get a smaller pulley
